Rent Collection Process

Choose our rent collection service for your rental properties. We’ll spare you the hassle of tracking down your rent and make payment an easy process via electronic payment, cashier’s check, money order, or personal check that encourages your renters to always get that rent in by the first of every month!

At Classic Property Management, paying rent is a walk in the park with our streamlined and straightforward approach.

You can rest assured as a landlord that rent is due on the 1st of every month and we make it as easy as possible for your renters to pay. We make sure your renters have every opportunity to keep their rent paid in full every month.

Late Rent Payments

We understand that sometimes rent may require a couple extra days to collect. So, we give your renters a 3 day grace period to make their payment, with rent considered late on the 4th.

However, if rent goes unpaid beyond our grace period, we give your tenant’s a 3-day notice to vacate your property and will file for eviction later in the same month.

Tenant’s will incur late fees daily until they’ve paid your rent balance in full. Keep in mind that we don’t just jump to an eviction process. Sometimes times get tough, and even the most reliable tenants can fall behind.

We do our best to work with your tenants and come up with a plant to get their balance paid in full and avoid eviction.

However, if it does come to the eviction process, we will always notify you of our filing intent before we begin. You will also always stay updated on your tenant’s current payment status, late or not.

Property Management Software

Accurate records help hold your tenants accountable for payments and never leave you in the dark. We utilize AppFolio Property Manager, a software designed to streamline property management right down to rent collection.

AppFolio ensures all of your tenant’s online transactions are secure, all records are actively updated, and that you are able to easily compare performance on a monthly basis if you ever need to dig into past data.

We let you put the complicated checkbooks and manual records away in favor of our property management accounting solution at the tip of your fingers from the comfort of your smartphone or laptop.
